2016 Advisor of the Year: Jeff Bucher
New York, NY – September 29, 2016— ALM’s Retirement Advisor magazine announced that Jeff Bucher, president of Citizen Advisory Group, has been named the 2016 Advisor of the Year. Referred to as the industry’s most prestigious award, the Advisor of the Year recognizes the top advisor who is successful, trustworthy, committed, ethical, community-focused, and most importantly, a super producer.
“Of course, picking from the successful and inspirational finalists we had was not easy, but Jeff’s commitment to his clients, his practice and his community is unparalleled,” says Retirement Advisor Editor-in-Chief Emily Holbrook. “He is a true leader and innovator and reprsents the Advisor of the Year in every aspect.”
In 2006, Jeff convinced his brother Kevin to quit his high school teaching position and start Citizen Advisory Group. They quickly became a full service firm handling what they call the six checkpoints of retirement (income, investments, tax planning, health care, long-term care and legacy planning). In 2015, Citizen Advisory Group earned total sales close to $32 million. The team continued to educate their clients with workshops, market events and investor education program called Investor Squared. Find out more about his journey to Advisor of the Year.
